Gratitude

Today as I stand in muted time,

silver fog rolls as if it were the sea,

beckons me to stand still,

hints of pine hypnotize,

heartfelt gratitude fertilizes

seeds of un-harvested awareness,

trees and human spirits unite,

as one cannot exist without the other.
